Tile roofs are our specialty. We have re-roofed homes in Alaqua Lakes, Lake Forest and Timacuan, most finished in about a week. On a tile re-roof we remove the old tile, replace the underlayment (the layer that actually keeps water out), repair the deck where needed, and install new concrete or clay tile with new flashing, valleys, hips and ridges.

Tile itself can last for decades, but the underlayment beneath it wears out, often after 20 to 25 years of Florida heat. Cracked or slipped tiles from storms, foot traffic or falling branches let water reach it sooner. Signs to watch for: ceiling stains, cracked or sliding tiles, and debris built up in the valleys.

For a newer tile roof we replace cracked and broken tiles, matching color as closely as we can, reset slipped tiles, repair valleys and flashing, and fix leaks at the underlayment. We show you photos and tell you honestly whether a repair will hold or whether replacement makes more sense.
